Microbial Activity
In 1991, researchers at A&L Midwest Laboratories conducted a trial using Menefee Humate™ on microbial samples in Omaha, Nebraska.
Protocol:
The trial consisted of two treatments. The first treatment, Control, included no applications to the fertile midwest soil. The second treatment, Menefee Humate, included 200 lbs of Menefee Humate™ per acre added to the soil.
Results:
Treated soil experienced a 30% increase in microbial activity.
Treated soil also showed increased soil sulfur and soil potassium, resulting from improved uptake of various nutrients.
